We're there when people need us most.
Our purpose is to meet the immediate disaster- caused needs of individuals, families, and communities. We respond to disasters big and small, across the country. Floods are among the most frequent and costly natural disasters. Your support helps those impacted by flooding in so many ways.
When victims of war, poverty, disasters, disease, and famine cry out for help, BERACHAH is often the first to answer.
As COVID-19 makes it difficult for BERACHAH and many others to do our “normal” work, we have adjusted our focus to address the community needs of this pandemic. While it may not be muck and guts or chainsaw teams, we are committed to continuing our mission of bringing comfort to those affected by disaster.
We put a special emphasis on not only providing physical relief to those in immediate need, but also equipping them with new knowledge to create sustainable solutions to combat poverty. Through hygiene education, life-skills training, community gardens and more. Berachah is committed to being God’s hands and feet in the nation. With an “Ask, Don’t Tell” mentality, our efforts address the core issues behind poverty, rather than only treating the symptoms.
